shirt.woot.com

I stumbled across this site recently and found that it is similar to Threadless.com They have users contribute artwork to be made into T-shirts and then there are contests to see which T-shirt well received. The pricing is pretty similar to Threadless. Also, Woot.com sells other products such as toys, daily deals, and wine. I believe the wine is mostly made by users, trying to promote their brand.

Yeah, I have a few friends who are dedicated 'wooters'. From what they tell me, Woot really values its community. One of the cool features about the site is that everyday there is a 'woot deal of the day' where there is some object on sale for a ridiculously low price. This keeps the community coming back every day to check what the product is, and likely by doing so is able to sell a lot of their other products once consumers are on the site.

In addition to that woot comment, there's this cool thing called a "woot-off" where the website has a number of really random things that they'll choose to sell for that day. They'll just focus on selling one product at a time, wait for it to be sold out and move on to the next product. I know that I love checking out what random stuff is on sale.
I also love the fact that the woot community members have listed all of their woot-off trackers that they use in one blog entry on the woot forum - real evidence of sharing in the community!

I was literally coming in here to talk about the "Woot-off". That day is honestly like Christmas! So many good deals on electronics and random accessories.
