Since we are going to be talking about innovation clusters in class this coming week, I thought people might find this interactive cluster map interesting. It shows innovation clusters all around the world and then categorizes them based on momentum/growth and diversity. You can also browse based on region alone. Enjoy!

    It's a map of the US with high-tech innovative clusters identified. It's similar to the one shown in Michael Porter's article, but more limited and with a few variations.

    Cool maps! I noticed that many of the most innovative clusters are in the western part of the US. Many of these states have eagerly grasped the cluster concept and are making concerted efforts to promote cluster growth and development.

    Cool maps! I noticed that the majority of the most innovative clusters are located in the western portion of the US. Many of these states (AZ, CA, CO, etc.) have eagerly grasped the cluster concept and are making concerted efforts to grow and develop high tech clusters in their region.
