Glad to see that the US remains the most innovative country! Granted, our companies probably hire the valuable internationals who are most capable.
This is an interesting list. What is most interesting is that fact that so many of these innovative companies are in machinery or manufacturing. This fact helps dismiss the oft mistaken notion that most innovation has migrated to the digital realm.
I agree that it is interesting that many of these companies are in machinery or manufacturing. I think this is likely to be where many of the new jobs in the next 10-20 years will come from. We need such jobs as we focus on sustainability and new methods for achieving it. We also need new technology as we progress within the healthcare field, especially as our population get older. Hopefully these innovative companies will provide useful technologies and create more employment opportunities in a time of slow economic growth.
