This is an interesting article from this month's edition of Fast Company. Kerstin Hanson is a Business Innovation Manager for the Volvo Group in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is a short article, but gives an example of how the love of innovation can lead to a great permanent job! The CO2 Pedometer is an interesting innovation. In general, I think our behavior could be dramatically altered if we had better ways to monitor the consequences of our actions. A good example is energy usage in the home. If each appliance had an energy output gauge, we would probably use less and conserve more. I think this is a major opportunity waiting to be exploited.
